Artist's Comments

Another commish this time with the theme of 'dancing girl'. I thought I'd gravitate away from bellydancer's popularity and do a shiva-like pose. Also my first time drawing a gazelle.

I've actually wanted to do this pose for a long long time. As a site layout (but with more arms obviously). Dont know if I'll do it though. Not that I have time to draw a new layout anyway. XD

Wow... beautiful! She is very pretty! Colouring, anatomy, pose, all very well done! I like how you did her legs and hooves, good blend of human and animals, and also the interesting rings for the long braided ponytail. Different, and cool!

Beautiful...I love how smooth the stripes are, and the delicacy of the fingers and nails. The pose is done masterfully.

You seem to be leaning a bit more towards the realistic aspect of your style- or maybe im jjst crazy- in any case this is an amazing piece of work....the fact that you gave her markings without outlining the individual areas worked out wonderfully I think its the subtle contrast against the dark outlines... i REALLY love her hair and the silver circle at the end of the braid and the way the string falls is so natural and pulled down only where there is weight I also like how the second arms come from the shoulder, makign it even more believable as a figure...I wish i had more to say but you KNOW how much i adore your work and i feel like im beign reduntant by going on and on...

Hey bw, your last two uplaods seem a little different in the coloring, did you by chance use a watercolor base?
