YES. Oh god yes. This thing has been lying around forever. It's my layout! Or it will be, with nice text and someone else to make it into one. Because I'm not touching coding myself. Nooo. o_o

Anyhow. The lineart's a bit old and my anatomy has gotten better, but I'm still quite satisfied with it overall. I think I'm understanding coloring a bit better now, as you can see I now delve into the realm of reflected surroundings, if a bit sloppily. I'll get better. Now I just wish I was better at planning so I could do similar things with traditional media.

This is also my second try at this type of highlights. I kind of like it, but it looks rather strange to me, perhaps I'm just so used to my old way of doing things. Also, the hair is not meant to look realistic.

Yes, there actually is a pattern to the way I name my drawings of Male Shin. And yes, he's a quite anatomically correct boy. =)

Oh wow. You did a totally fantastic job on the anatomy, especially in that chest/foreleg area. That's one of the coolest and most intimidating parts of the horse, at least in my opinion. I'm not around them much, but when I am, I find myself in total awe at how powerful and musculure their chests are. Then I scamper away for fear of being stomped, because it is a very realistic fear of mine. ^^;

Anyway, awesome job, of course. This new coloring style is quite nice! You're an awesome artist. :heart:

Wow that's wonderful.
Such pictures are the reason why i really love male-shin...he's so proud. ^^
The coloring is great but i think the headhair could be a bit darker on some parts because it wpuld be more harmonical. ^^ I don't know why but the hair of the tail is good liek it is.

I love it. ^^

Thank you! ^^ And I realise the hair is far from having realistic shading, and also that it has no highlights. But I thought it worker better like this with the style I drew it in, as more shading would make the little interlocking parts not look the same anymore. Since it's a lyout and not a full-out picture, I thought to just keep it like that ^^
O_______O
Ohhhhh. It came out beautifully. I love everything little detail about it. :heart:

Yes i understood it and don't want to have more shading....only a bit darker...not a whole shading...^^
But you said it it's only a layout and i think...it's a really good one. ^^

It was only my thoughts and i wanted to tell you that. ^^

This is beautiful. I admire people who can draw horses because their anatomy just seems too hard for me to understand. I love the definition of the muscles and your shading looks absolutely beautiful. I think the style you drew the hair in look great and that horn .. Wow. The reflections on it are amazing. You're such a great artist. :+favlove:
Interesting... peircing... I don't know why some guys do that.

Anyway, AWESOME. Horses are hard to draw, and you've got it down to a T.
