. I'm not sure how long exactly this took me, but I've never put so much time and effort into any other piece.
The rugs were pasted in from photos, but later painted over. That took quite a while. D:
I probably should have blurred some of the background to create a sense of depth, but I couldn't bear blurring the detail I already put into everything. Artistic wuss is I.
Oddly enough, the only reference I used for this was for the candles, for the way the light would glow though them.
